Looks similar to what my dad made me growing up, except it was Northern beans ( with Ham, mustard, and a little brown sugar, and small amount of vinegar) soup, with cornbread ( can drizzle honey on it or even put corn inside it ) . ❤ Not sure if other Americans like me eat this, but I made it yesterday!

Your grandpa reminds me of my grandpa, he died 4 years ago from diabetes, but he was such an incredible man, he worked in Switzerland and Italy for a couple of years during my mother's childhood and he even learned Italian including German and French, he was a classy man and always wore nice clothes and watches, he had a big sweet tooth and my grandma would always make cakes for him before he was diagnosed with diabetes in his late 60s, he had to cut his leg off too due to his high blood sugar, but even being an amputee he stayed strong and acted like he still had his leg, he would read my bedtime stories and would build cribs and sell them in the street. I miss him a lot even though I forgot his voice and how he looked like, he'll always be in my memories.

Love these videos! I wish I was able to visit Italy, I pray one day I can. I love rustic food, and all the food looked amazing, especially the spaghetti with fried onions and pecorino. I will have to make this.

I love videos like this, it makes my heart warm❤ both my grandparents has passed away and before my grandma has stroke since i was a kid, so she never cooked for the family but she kept her recipe and my mom sometimes recreated the dish for us✨

At 6:55 when you are in LA. That's not fog, that's smog. It's like a mixture of fog and car exhaust. It has really bad air quality because so many people live there. Go to Santa Barbara, Malibu, Montecito, and San Diego. Those are much nicer cities than LA.
